If you feel lonely in Minecraft, your little pet companion will be there to make you feel less lonely. He can carry things for you and help you fight if you give him tools. This is the Pet Companion Mod. You can even change his appearance if you don't want him to look like you.
How to get your own pet companion
When you enter your Minecraft world and you look at your feet, you can see how they looked when you first entered the game.
[NEW]: Use "P" on your keyboard to temporarily put your pet away from you so you can put it away (or summon it).
what can my partner do
At first, he will follow you. You give him a box however, and you'll see that he wants to store something for you. Right-click on our pet friend (right-click on him) to see what he has put:
Your partner can store up to 12 items!
He puts them in the box you gave him. Because he was a little guy, he couldn't carry much.
You can also equip him with an armor or weapon.
He has a small stature, so only one helmet can be worn. He won't accept any weapon except a sword, what a picky guy!
If you give him a sword, he will fight monsters with you, so let's go help him.

Cure your pet companion!
Your pet companion can be finicky when it comes to weapons and what they carry. But it's completely different with food, he'll eat anything you can eat. 
My partner died in battle!
If your partner dies, don't worry because he will come back. In about five to fifteen minutes, your friend is reborn at your feet. You should take good care of your partner because he needs the care of your partner just as much as you do.
Carry him!
With the saddle in hand, you right-click on your companion to have him sit on your head wherever you go. To bring your partner down, you click on him again to bring him down.
One last thing…
As you may have noticed, there is the final slot below the helmet and sword slots.
How to change the look of your friends
When you put items in the last armor slot, he will change into the corresponding appearance. Most of them are very interesting.

Mod Compatible
Since Minecraft 1.8, the Alex player model was added, there are some subtle differences between the 2 player models. Due to some internal coding reasons, only one of the models can be specified by default, sadly it seems that after starting the game There is no way to obtain information to determine which model a player is using. To solve this problem, when you use another player's skin on your companion, a small button will appear at the bottom of your interface, allowing you to switch between the Alex and Steve models accordingly.
