The PacX resource pack is one we're excited to see because, unlike traditional resource packs, it fixes visual issues that have been present in Minecraft for a while, rather than simply slapping a completely different art style on top of the game. The pack is less than a week old at the time of writing, and it's already riding waves thanks to a clever and creative design. If you want the visual style of Minecraft to remain intact, but at the same time want to significantly improve the visual effects, then PacX will definitely be enough.
There was a lot of thought put into PacX for the details of the pack's textures. Probably the biggest change it makes is the fact that it can add color to a lot of entities in the game that are traditionally hard to spot, especially in low-light environments like underground caves. One of the most interesting changes we've seen in this pack is that it actually changes the color of each bow based on its function, which allows for some dynamic and highly appealing visual effects that you simply can't do in most -mill resource package.
PacX also makes the water in the game look more realistic as it is clearer and easier to see, and on top of that there are a number of other changes for players to enjoy. PacX has an x16 resolution because it is simply designed to remedy the game's textures rather than changing them entirely, and of course the great thing about this resolution is that it allows players to take advantage of this package without having to worry about framerate issues.
