After applying the Bright Shades resource pack, the first thing you'll notice when you enter the game world will be the smooth and incredibly detailed textures. Incredibly, this pack takes the typically noisy vanilla Minecraft textures and removes almost all of the noise while making them more detailed and overall better looking. The palette in Bright Shades is also much brighter than the usual vanilla palette, so the textures look more lively than usual.

The resolution of the Bright Shades resource pack is a bit higher than usual on x64, which isn't really surprising as the textures look more detailed and this level of detail isn't possible on standard x16 resolution.
