The Advance Pack may be labeled as a complete resource pack, but it's best thought of as an add-on to other similarly themed resource packs, as it's not giving Minecraft's visuals a complete overhaul, but rather just remediation that's present in a lot of vanilla textures. problem. Getting into the details, the biggest highlight of the Advance Pack has to be the top-notch paintings. Paints are actually an integral part of Minecraft's visuals, but despite this, many resource pack creators completely ignore them and don't focus on them. The textures for the Advance resource pack are designed at a resolution of x16 which is appropriate as this is the resolution of most packs which is why there will be a resolution difference if you use this pack with another use.
