As of now, Minecraft has a ridiculous amount of resource packs, but out of all of them, the Pulchra Revisited Resource Pack is certainly the epitome of quality. This pack just came out at the beginning of June, and since then, it's only been made in one direction. In addition to being incredibly innovative, the Pulchra Revisited resource pack is one of the most professional-looking packages we've ever seen, and is certainly a great choice if you're looking for a visual experience that goes above and beyond what other traditional resource packs can offer.
The Pulchra Revisited resource pack utilizes a variety of advanced texture design techniques to build all of its textures. This is one of several wrappers for textures that support parallax occlusion mapping, and this particular feature makes the textures look very realistic. In addition to this, all of the pack's textures have been photo scanned, so you can expect the highest quality from each of them. The pack also offers a variety of special mob-specific textures, unlike what we've seen in most running resource packs.
Of course, it goes without saying that resource packs of Pulchra Revisited quality require a lot of high-end hardware to run properly. This pack is available in resolutions from x128 to x2048, so there are plenty of options to choose from. However, even the x128 version of this package is very demanding, so you will definitely need a solid PC to use it without trouble.
