Steven's Legacy Resource Pack is another pack in the growing number of Minecraft packs that try to keep something as close to the original's art style as possible. Executing the concept of improving Minecraft's visuals while maintaining its core art style has proven itself to be quite a challenge over the years, as many packs have tried, but only a few have actually succeeded. Fortunately, though, Steven's Traditional Resource Pack is of the latter type, and all things considered, it's a top-notch pack that you're sure to be happy with if you pick it up for a shot.

The defining feature of the Steven Legacy resource pack is the sheer precision of detail that is incorporated into the textures. The details are not visible from a distance, but if you analyze the textures of this bag carefully, you will see that they are actually quite stunning and a lot of effort went into designing them. The pack also makes use of connected textures to make the visuals more immersive, and on top of that, can even change the in-game sky to make it look more alive. Steven's Legacy has also put a heavy emphasis on the in-game animations, as many of them have been made smoother. In addition to this, the package implements its own unique animations and complements the visuals very well.

Steven's legacy resource packs have a higher x64 resolution than the usual x16, which is why it's not surprising that the textures have a lot of detail in them. Of course, one downside to this resolution is that players will need an average or above-average PC to use this pack without running into framerate issues.
