Instagram is about to launch “AI Studio”, allowing creators to create personalized AI chatbots to provide fans with a more convenient interactive experience. Meta CEO Zuckerberg announced that this feature will first be tested in the United States for early testing. In the next few weeks, users will be able to interact with their favorite creators or interested AI on Instagram. This innovation aims to help creators better communicate with fans, provide more personalized and efficient services, and promote the innovation of social media interaction models.
Instagram’s newly launched “AI Studio” will allow creators to make their own versions of AI chatbots.
Meta is launching it as an "early test in the U.S.," CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on Thursday's broadcast. According to Zuckerberg, "In the coming weeks, you may see some of your favorite creators and interest-based AI on Instagram."
These AIs will primarily appear in messaging and will be clearly labeled as AI. Users can click the "Message" button from the creator's Instagram page to start a conversation with the AI chatbot.
A note at the top of the page says the messages are generated by AI and "some may be inaccurate or inappropriate." In addition, Meta puts the word "AI" before the creator's name and currently has the tag "beta" after the name.
Zuckerberg said: "We have been working closely with creators so that these AIs can help answer questions from their fans and communicate with people in useful and interesting ways. This is a beta version and we will Keep improving them and get more people using them soon."
