Style sheets add flair to text
The above mentioned are some of the most basic settings for text. If you want to play more tricks on text, you need the help of style sheets.
In the editing state, press Shift+F11 to enter the style sheet dialog box (CSS Styles):
Click on the lower right corner , create a new style:
As shown above, give your style a name in the Name field. Dreamweaver will put a decimal point before the name by default to avoid confusion with other HTML tags. For example, the name I gave here is "myfont" (change unnamed1 to myfont) ; Define whether to choose to use an external style sheet or only create a style on this page (This Document Only). We choose the former so that multiple pages can share a style sheet. Press OK.
In the next dialog box, enter the name of the style sheet file, such as "myfont", and click "Save". This will generate a style sheet file called myfont.css, as shown above.
Set the style as shown in the picture above. Size is the size of the text, we set it to 9 points (referred to as 9pt); Line is the line spacing, we set it to 13 points (another common setting method is 150%), so you get the so-called 9 point font. After setting, press OK to return to the style sheet dialog box. You can see that a style called "myfont" has been added, as shown in the figure below.
Then, you can select a piece of text and select myfont in the style dialog box. How about it? Has the text become much more refined? The 9-point font is the smallest and most delicate size that Song font can display without deformation, so it is widely used in web page production.
In addition to 9-point fonts, there is also a 10.4Pixel font, which is between 12pt and 9pt. It is also frequently used. You can try it yourself.
If you need to reference an existing style sheet on other pages, you can click . in addition, is to edit existing styles. is to delete a style.
