1. Introduction to Dreamweaver
Dreamweaver is a "What You See Is What You Get" web page editing tool produced by Macromedia. Unlike Frontpage, Deamweaver adopts the Mac floating panel design style, which may be uncomfortable for beginners. But when you get used to its operation method, you will find that Dreamweaver's intuitiveness and efficiency are unmatched by Frontpage.
Dreamweaver has particularly good support for DHTML (dynamic web pages), and can easily create many dazzling interactive page effects. The plug-in program design allows its functions to be infinitely expanded. Dreamweaver, Flash, and Firework are also known as Macromedia's three musketeers for web page production.
