There are a total of 11 paint cans of different colors in "Charles Train". You can change the color of the train by picking up the paint cans. Below I will introduce to you the locations of all the paint cans in "Charles the Tank Engine". I hope it will be helpful to you.

Next to the weapons mission. You can find it by entering the barn.
Paint Can #2
Follow the story into the mine, and follow the wall on the left until you see a passage, in which you can see a box containing paint cans. You need to complete the previous tasks to get the lock picking tool before you can open the box.
Paint Can #3
Head to the water's edge and find it in the wooden shed.
Paint Can #4
This paint can is found in a chest on the top floor of the building.
Paint Can #5
Another plot mission in the mining area. First, see the egg behind it through the fence, and go to the left from your current location. Turn the corner and follow the wall on the right. There is a passage leading to the room where the box is. Enter the room and open the box to get the paint can.

This paint can is on the dock, in the upper left corner of the map.

Located in a church pew.
Paint Can #8
It is located on the first floor of the building at the location shown in the picture below.
Paint Can #9
Located in the mine. After picking up the eggs and escaping the mine, you will see a chest next to the elevator. Open the chest to get a paint can.
Paint Can #10
According to the side mission, you need to find the cucumber. There is a tent next to the entrance of the cave where the cucumber is, and the paint can is near the tent.

It is located as shown in the picture below, on the rooftop terrace.
