After the completion of the regional series, PUBG officially announced the format of this PGS1 event. The detailed rules of this event will be introduced below.

Competition location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
group stage
PGS1 will be divided into three groups A, B, and C with 8 teams in each group. The group stage will have 6 games per day for 3 days. Each group will compete with other groups, namely Group AB, Group BC, and AC. Group, based on the results of the three days of competition, the top 16 teams will be placed in the winner's group, and the bottom 8 teams will be placed in the loser's group.

The winning group teams will compete in 12 games over 2 days. Based on the results of the two days of competition, the top 8 teams will directly receive tickets to the PGS1 finals, and the bottom 8 teams will be arranged to compete in the losing group competition on the next day. .
loser bracket
The loser group teams will compete in 12 games over 2 days. Based on the results of the two days of competition, the top 8 teams will directly receive tickets to the PGS1 finals, and the bottom 8 teams will be directly eliminated.
finals
After a day of rest and adjustment, 16 teams will compete in 18 games over three days. The team ranked first after the game will win the overall championship of PGS1.
PGS points
Only the 16 teams participating in the finals will receive points for PGS1 and PGS2
The top 4 teams with the most points in PGS1 and PGS2 will receive direct invitations to PGC2023.
The PGS points system is an independent points system
PGS points are not added to PGC points earned in regional leagues
Prize pool
The total prize money, totaling US$500,000, will be distributed to participating teams based on the final results of the competition, and the final ranking will be determined based on the final ranking of the finals.
