The game Diablo 4 has been very popular recently, and many friends are actively jumping into it. However, the game is not that easy to get started, especially for novice players. In the game, you often encounter "Diablo 4" Rangers. I don’t know how to solve the problem of penetrating shooting. Therefore, the editor has collected and sorted out the solutions to the guide of "Diablo 4" Ranger Penetrating Shooting. If you are interested, come and take a look.
Penetrating Shot is a core skill that fires a massive armor-piercing arrow. It's pretty straightforward on paper, and while it doesn't sound exciting at first, when you spice it up with Infusion and the Trickshot Offensive Aspect, your The nuclear explosion gameplay will be realized.
As with most ranger abilities, maximizing their potential requires good positioning, as the more enemies you hit in a line, the more damage you inflict. Do so and be rewarded with a fireworks display of demon body parts.
Advantages:
Simple concept
Powerful AOE
long range sniping
High burst damage
Disadvantages:
slow pace
Missed and hurt badly
Depends on CD skills (the original text is Juggles Cooldowns, I didn’t understand it)
Need to move
Skill
penetrating shot
`Penetrating Shot` is our main skill. This core skill shoots a huge arrow in a straight line, piercing all enemy targets. The `Magic Shooting Offensive Power` will also fire twice at a 90° angle from their position for every enemy it hits, absolutely destroying a large group at once.
Powerful Arrow
`Powerful Arrow` is our basic skill of choice for building `combo points` and applying the `vulnerable` debuff. It's mainly used for utility, not damage. The knockback effect is very important for maintaining distance!
Tribulus
When things get a little tough, `Caltrops` help us keep a safe distance. It also provides additional multiplier opportunities (here refers to the linkage effect of slowing down and starting).
Shadow Curtain
`Shadow Curtain` is our main defensive skill, and it is also an important source of early movement speed. Since we always keep a certain distance, we can minimize the spankings we receive.
Toxin infusion
`Toxin Infusion` is the buff we use for `Penetrating Shot`. It converts our damage into poison damage and deals poison damage to the enemy over time, making it easier to clean up during Shadow Infusion cooldown or take longer to kill. A great choice for more powerful enemies such as bosses and elites.
Shadow Infusion
`Shadow Infusion` fills the last skill slot. Similar to `Toxin Infusion`, it enhances `Penetrating Shot` by converting `Penetrating Shot` to `Shadow Damage`. Both cannot be used at the same time. Its main purpose is to effectively blow up mob piles and help restore energy.
Beginner (Level 2-3, 2 skill points)
At the beginning of your skill tree, we have to invest 2 points in the basic skill to unlock the next section. `Powerful Arrow` is a good choice here as it applies `Vulnerable`, which is a significant damage multiplier.
Another good option is `Puncture`. With `Basic Puncture` you can also apply `Vulnerable`. The difference between the two is that `Piercing` has a shorter range than `Power Arrow`, requiring you to hit mid-range, putting you in greater danger. The benefit, however, is that attacks are faster, allowing for faster combo point accumulation and energy regeneration.
In keeping with the archer style, we're going to build this guide around Power Arrows, but pick whatever works for you.
Level 2:Powerful Arrow
Level 3: Enhanced Powerful Arrow
Unlock Penetrating Shot (Level 4-7, 4 skill points)
You want to unlock `Penetrating Shot` as soon as possible. You'll want to max it out later, but for now, allocate a point to unlock the passive that makes the skill shine. Use `Basic Power Arrows`$ passive knockback here to stay safe and line up `Penetrating Shots` more easily.
Level 4: Penetrating Shot
Level 5: Enhanced Penetrating Shot
Level 6: Advanced Penetrating Shot
Level 7: Basic Powerful Arrow
Add functionality, mobility and defense (levels 8-17, 10 skill points)
We unlocked 3 agility skills. They all have their own strengths and weaknesses, and choosing one will determine what type of ranger you want to be in combat. For this guide we chose Caltrops to keep with the shooter style.
`Caltrop` is a great skill for keeping distance and providing extra damage modifier. This agility skill has two charges. When cast, it throws a large number of spikes on the ground while jumping backwards to slow down enemies trapped inside. If an enemy is hit while casting, it deals damage and makes them flinch. The additional passive deals more damage when enemies are inside the trap. Select this option if you want to err on the side of caution and expect to see larger numbers.
`Shadow Step` is a very cool skill that allows you to instantly teleport behind any target you choose. This is also one of the few skills of the ranger that provides Unstoppable (control-free). Although a bit complicated to use, this skill combined with the Disciplined Shadow Step passive skill will bring amazing combat maneuverability, and when used skillfully, it can help you quickly travel around the world. Choose this option if you want some style and defensive utility.
`Dash` is a very popular mobility skill that appears in most ranger bds. While not that useful for ranged rangers in combat other than for positioning, it is unmatched in terms of movement and getting to your destination as quickly as possible. Choose this option if traveling around the world is a priority.
At level 13, we unlock the Deception skill, where we gain `Shadow Veil'. This is a very important skill used in most ranger bds due to the amount of protection it provides. Additionally, we use it to increase our movement speed by `Subverting Shadow Veil`.
At level 15, we unlock the ranger's specialization mechanic. Complete this priority mission as quickly as possible to earn `Combo Points`. Once you get it, use Power Arrow 3 times before firing Penetrating Shot to increase its damage and lucky hits. This also gives you time to charge up, since you want to cast Penetrating Shot at full power to take full advantage of Blade Master's offensive power for high damage and to take advantage of Advanced Penetrating Shot's crowd control to help apply additional damage modifiers and maintain distance.
> Do not use multiple `Penetrating Shots` in a row without first establishing `Combo Points`! (Translation: Will be mentioned later, it costs energy)
