There are multiple world BOSSs in Diablo 4. They have different forms and moves. Players who want to understand the characteristics of each BOSS can see the following introduction to the location of Greevil in Diablo 4. I hope it can help everyone.
Overview
The English name of greedy devil is: Avarice, which means greed among the seven deadly sins. This behemoth with a huge mouth is a cousin of the Treasure Goblin. Due to a strange hell magic, it lives longer than other goblins, and its size becomes larger and larger, and even has a huge head. Demonic horns. But even so, Avalis has changed its nature of greed for gold coins and treasures.
Where Greevil lives, there is a treasure chest as huge as it is. Except when not looking for food, Avalis never leaves this treasure chest. In Sanctuary, there are countless rumors about the treasure chest, and they are becoming more and more popular, attracting many adventurers who are not afraid of death to come and find out.
Since any World BOSS has some one-hit-kill skills, it is impossible to defeat the World BOSS alone without teaming up with other players. After world bosses such as Greevil or Asaba are killed, a lot of rare equipment will explode from their corpses. Among them, there will be a special item called astigmatism prism. This item will only be dropped by world bosses. It Can be used to add slots for specific equipment.
Boss health bar
The health of the world BOSS has four cut-off points. Once the health drops to one of the cut-off points, a red arrow that flips upward and gradually turns gray will appear in the interface. The appearance of this arrow indicates that the player's battle has entered the next stage. During this period, multiple blood balls will be dropped on the map, allowing the player to have more sufficient health when facing the more powerful BOSS in the next stage. .
Boss’s hard and straight setting
There is a hidden hard bar under the World BOSS's health bar. When the world BOSS issues a big move, the progress of this hard bar will increase a little. Once this stun bar is full, the world BOSS will be stun for 12 seconds. Players can use this time to pour out all kinds of damage. In addition, each world BOS has its own unique kill mechanism. For example, Greevil will spawn two treasure goblins after being beaten.
Boss's attack method
The attack mechanism of the world BOSS can be divided into two categories: primary skills and secondary skills according to its threat. Primary skills refer to those skills that can knock out most of the player's health or directly kill the player with one blow. These skills usually have prompts before they are activated, giving players enough time to avoid the attack. Secondary skills refer to those skills that cause less damage, and players of normal levels can easily withstand the damage of these skills.
Main skills:
Whirlwind: When activating this skill, Greevil will hold the huge treasure chest to his chest, and then start a 360-degree whirlwind with no blind spots. Before attacking, Greevil will make a chest thrust forward movement, but the damage of this movement is very small, and the subsequent whirlwind will cause fatal damage to the player. Players can stand between the chain and the box, or hide far away to avoid being attacked.
Mallet Slam: Greevil will raise his gavel and then slam it into the ground beneath his feet, causing massive AOE damage to all surrounding players. If there are giant pillars around when Greevil activates his skills, these pillars will explode together, and the accompanying chain damage will affect the surrounding players. Fortunately, the pillar shattered by Greevil will wait for 3 seconds before exploding, which is equivalent to giving the player sufficient time to evade. After the giant pillar is destroyed, a pool of gold dust will be left at its original location, and players will continue to take damage when walking on it.
Sandstorm: Greevil will hit the surrounding rocks with a mallet to summon a sandstorm, causing fatal damage to players in the path of the sandstorm. After this skill is released, Greevil will be stiff for a period of time, and players can take this opportunity to pour all kinds of damage on it.
Teleport Charge: Greevil will summon a portal that only it can enter, and emerge from another portal a few seconds after jumping into the portal. After it jumps into the portal and comes out of the portal, it will charge, causing a lot of damage and stunning effects to all players along the way.
Secondary skills:
Cleave: Greevil swings the mallet and then rotates 180 degrees around itself, causing normal damage to any player hit.
Breathing Gold: Greevil spits out a large amount of gold underneath him. Any player standing in this golden area will continue to be damaged.
Earth Trample: Greevil will select a player and trample them under its feet. This skill will only cause a small amount of damage.
Summon giant pillars: Greevil will summon pillars that hinder players' movement and attacks at any time during battle. These giant pillars will also be used in conjunction with Greevil's mallet slam. Once these pillars are destroyed, they will explode and cause large amounts of damage to nearby players.
