It’s been a while since I stopped caring about the promotion of my studio, but I don’t worry about it too much. Because the daily traffic of the space now basically comes from Baidu web searches, and every searched article ranks high. What I worry about now is how to better provide our services to customers and where to attract customers.
I have been using Baidu Space for less than two months, and I started promoting Baidu Space in about mid-May. It was nothing at the beginning. I just kept writing articles, some technical articles, so that others could search for our studio. I write articles every day, sometimes until very late, and I rush out some articles, but I still feel good. Because many of the articles were written based on my own feelings, they were considered original, but later I found that the inclusion was not ideal. Because search engines are not very interested in original articles, I only found out about this later. But I don’t want to make something copied or original. My slogan for the studio is to create our own brand, and we have to prove ourselves with our own strength. I still write original articles, but the number of views has never been large, and there are almost no replies. This is my biggest headache. In this way, I spent half a month to enrich the content of the space. During this period, I also used some commonly used online promotion methods, such as going to other people's spaces to reply, posting on Tieba, etc. But I don't agree with this approach.
Here is a misunderstanding about using blog space for promotion: Don’t think that high traffic means high-quality promotion. Why? Nowadays, Sina, Sohu, Baidu and other spatial blogs have a lot of traffic, and the number of people online every day is quite large. But if your space blog only gets traffic from your website, there may be something wrong with your promotion. You face a large number of readers who are basically just hanging out every day. Do you think these visitors can bring you business? So I didn’t go anywhere to leave a message and reply. This is a message of little value. Promotion.
I thought about a lot of valuable promotions. For example, I went to Baidu Tieba, some Tieba related to our studio technology, to discuss some issues; I went to Baidu to answer people's questions every day. This was obviously very effective, and my answers were adopted. The efficiency is also very high, so that it took me more than ten days to advance from beginner level to level 4, which I rarely do now. Now I know through Baidu that I have received two netizens who worship me as my teacher, which is very funny.
The most important thing is our studio’s articles. If there is no rich content, I think others will not come back again after reading them. Therefore, the article columns of the studio are purposeful. Each category is basically related to the studio's business. Some may not have started yet, but they will in the future. As a technical studio, a large number of technical articles are necessary. For example, if you search for "html A tag", you will quickly find the link to our studio, as well as "online fast food", a business category of the studio, both on the first page. Now the traffic of the studio is basically brought by these keywords every day. Some time ago, the studio accepted a customer for consultation through Baidu Space for the first time. The customer was obviously very interested in our studio and said that he would visit us in the future. Have long-term cooperation.
