In the game "Minecraft", there are various monsters that are hostile to players. Each wild monster attacks players differently, such as zombies' waving attacks, Xiaobai's arrow damage, etc. One of them is the most peculiar. It can not only cause continuous damage to the player, but also actively return blood to give different buffs, and at the same time give the player negative effects. This kind of wild monster is the witch.
It has almost the same model as the villagers, and is dressed like a traditional European witch. Some settings are also similar to the villagers. For example, the villagers emit green particles when they are happy, and purple particles emit when they are happy.
generate
There are four ways to generate witches. The more common one is to generate them within the player's wild monster refresh range when the brightness is lower than seven. The number naturally generated will not be too many, and they will be refreshed outside the perception range.
The second generation method is to generate a hut in the swamp. Usually, a black kitten will be generated at the same time, and they will never disappear. If the witch is not spawned in the hut, the black cat may not spawn, and it can be spawned.
The third generation method is during a thunderstorm. When lightning strikes 3-4 blocks near a villager, the villager will turn into a witch before he or she dies. Small villagers who are struck by lightning will also directly turn into a witch.
The fourth spawn method is the later wave spawns in the difficulty mode above Easy.
Features
Witches, although modeled similarly to villagers, cannot open and close doors or use houses.
They use splash potions when attacking, and players, villagers and iron golems will be sensed when they appear within 16 blocks around it. The attack method is to throw each potion at an interval of 2 seconds at hostile creatures. Players who are eight blocks away from the witch will be thrown a slow potion. Players with a blood volume higher than eight will be thrown a poisonous potion that lasts for 44 seconds. The conditions are not met. If you do, you will be thrown a damage potion, and there is a certain probability of being thrown a weakness potion.
Witches are extremely resistant to magical damage, including poison, instant damage, thorns, and the fangs of the evoker. When taking damage, normal potions will be consumed for defense. There is a chance to receive a potion of fire resistance or a potion of water breathing when taking fire damage or drowning.
Witches spawned during raids will throw splash regeneration and healing potions at low-health illager villagers, and use splash damage potions at villagers and iron golems. If all villagers are killed by the witch or other attackers during an attack, the witch will jump, laugh and wave her arms in victory.
Drops
There are many types of items dropped when a witch is killed. Generally, there is a one-eighth chance of dropping six items: glass bottle, redstone powder, fluorite powder, gunpowder, spider eyes, and sugar, and another one-quarter chance. There is a probability of dropping a wooden stick, which can be dropped 1-3 times, with 0-2 items dropped each time, and a maximum of 6 items dropped. Looting can increase the dropped items.
When witches are killed while drinking potions of healing, fire resistance, swiftness and water breathing, 8.5% of the potions they drink will be dropped as equipment drops. Each additional level of Looting enchantment increases the drop chance by 1%.
In the early stage, killing witches is more time-consuming, but the items dropped are very rich.
