Introduction to Suicide Squad from Another World
The new original animation "Suicide Squad Isekai" (different world スーサイド・スクワッド, Suicide Squad Isekai), a collaboration between Japan's Warner Bros. and animation company WIT STUDIO, based on the DC comic "Suicide Squad", was held in Los Angeles, USA. Anime Expo 2023 was officially announced, and at the same time, the preview visual poster and promotional video of the original character played by cartoonist Akira Amano were released.
"Suicide Squad from Another World" is an original work that combines "Suicide Squad" with the stage of another world. Nagata Eri, who held the positions of acting, storyboarding, and chief animation supervisor in "Jokushin Kaisen", will serve as a supervisor for the first time in this work. The series composition and script will be written by Nagatsuki, the author of "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World" Tappei and script writer Umehara Eiji are jointly responsible, cartoonist Akira Amano is responsible for the original character design, and WIT STUDIO is responsible for animation production.
