Metal signs are a common thing in our daily lives and can be used in many places. Below we will use Photoshop to make an Olympic five-ring metal sign.
Let’s take a look at the effect first:

Production process:
1. Create a new file and open a material file. The effect is as shown in Figure 01. Select the magic wand tool in the toolbox and select the black pattern part to select the logo. Use the move tool to drag the pattern to the file and adjust the size and position. .
2. Select layer 1, execute the "Filter", "Blur" and "Gaussian Blur" commands in the menu bar, set the parameters in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 02, click OK, and the effect is as shown in Figure 03.
3. Select the "Rounded Rectangle Tool" in the tool box, set the settings in the tool option bar as shown in Figure 04, and draw a rounded rectangle on the screen, as shown in Figure 05. Switch to the Path panel, double-click the working path, and click OK in the pop-up dialog box, as shown in Figure 06. Save the path as path1.
4. Press Ctrl+Enter to convert the path to a selection, switch to the channel panel, click the "Save selection as channel" button, and store channel Alpha 1, as shown in Figure 07. Select Alpha 1 as the current channel, cancel the selection, execute the "Filter", "Blur" and "Gaussian Blur" commands in the menu bar, and make the settings shown in Figure 08 in the pop-up dialog box. The screen effect is shown in Figure 09 .
5. Press the Ctrl key and click layer 1 in the layer panel to bring up the selection, switch to the channel panel, and select the Alpha 1 channel. Press the Alt+Delete keys to add black to the selection and cancel the selection. The effect is as shown in Figure 10.
6. Create a new layer 2 in the layer panel, execute the "Edit" and "Fill" commands in the menu bar, and fill the new layer with 50% gray, as shown in Figure 11.
7. Execute the "Filter", "Noise" and "Add Noise" commands in the menu bar, and set the settings in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 12, and the screen effect is as shown in Figure 13.
8. Execute the "Filter", "Rendering" and "Lighting Effect" commands in the menu bar, and set the settings in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 14. The screen effect is shown in Figure 15.
9. Switch to the Path panel, select Path 1, press Ctrl+Enter to convert the path into a selection, switch to the Layers panel, select Layer 2, press Ctrl+Shift+I to invert the selection, and press Delete to delete the selection. The graphics inside, the effect is shown in Figure 16.
10. Double-click on layer 2 to open the layer style dialog box and set the drop shadow and bevel and embossing options. The effect is as shown in Figures 17 and 18, and the image effect is as shown in Figure 19.
11. Select layer 2, click the "Create New Fill or Adjustment Layer" button at the bottom of the layer panel, select the "Color Balance" command in the pop-up menu, and set the parameters as shown in Figure 20. The screen effect is as shown in Figure 20 21 shown.
12. Click the "Create New Fill or Adjustment Layer" button at the bottom of the layer panel again, select the "Levels" command in the pop-up menu, and set the parameters in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 22. The screen effect is as follows As shown in Figure 23.
13. Select the "Brush Tool" in the toolbox, create a new layer 3, set the foreground color to 50% gray, and click on the screen with the Brush Tool. The effect is shown in Figure 24.
14. Double-click on layer 3 to open the layer style dialog box and set the projection and bevel and embossing options, as shown in Figures 25 and 26. The picture effect is shown in Figure 27.
15. Press the Ctrl key to click on layer 3 to bring up the circular selection, execute the "Select", "Modify" and "Extend" commands in the menu bar, and enter 12 in the pop-up dialog box, as shown in Figure 28, image effect As shown in Figure 29.
16. Execute the "Edit" and "Stroke" commands in the menu bar. The effect is as shown in Figure 30. Move layer 4 below layer 3 and set the fill to 0. Double-click on layer 4 to open the layer style dialog box and set the bevel and embossing options as shown in Figure 31. The effect is shown in Figure 32.
17. Create a new layer 5, select the rectangle tool in the toolbox, draw a rectangle, and then draw another one so that the two are cross-shaped and fill them with color. Press the Ctrl+T keys to pop up the free deformation box and rotate it a certain amount. Angle, the effect is shown in Figure 33.
18. Double-click layer 5 to open the layer style dialog box and set the bevel and embossing options, as shown in Figure 34, and the image effect is shown in Figure 35.
19. Connect layer 3, layer 4 and layer 5 and press Ctrl+E to merge them, then copy them. The effect is as shown in Figure 36.
