In the declining and defeated Kingdom of Korea, an unprecedented terrible plague spreads among the people. The deceased king came back to life and transformed into a monster; people infected by the plague did not die, but became walking zombies, relying on cannibalism to stay alive. Ling Yizheng, who was greedy for profit, accused the prince Li Cang of being a rebel and ordered Li Cang to be visited. With an outnumbered enemy, Li Cang decided to venture out of the palace to investigate in order to prove his innocence and find out the whereabouts of his father. Later, he met Shu Fei, a female doctor, and the two worked together to find out the truth and save the country.
