installation
To install the game, we just need to download the executable.
Usage
Functionalities of the program
Once we run the game, we go directly to the dashboard and game options screen. On the right, we have available a series of buttons that fulfill different functions:
- New game . Clicking this button erases all previous results and loads the game again, starting from scratch.
- Next Game This button keeps the results obtained and resets the board and counters for each player.
- Results . When we click this button, a new window opens showing each player's results obtained so far (how many wins each player has).
- get out Close the game once we click this button.
Additionally, below these buttons we have the capture markers for each player , as well as the current player indicator (red background behind the current player). Each capture adds one point to the player who captured. The game window can be moved by clicking anywhere on the background and dragging the mouse to the desired position.
Game features
It is played with two people, and jugador 1 (white pieces) always starts the game. This game allows you to do the following actions:
- Move pieces to the allowed squares . To move a piece, we click on it and the program marks which boxes we can move to.
- Even if the program marks occupied squares, we can only move to
caselles lliures (as long as they are of the same color).
- Catch pieces of the other color . Once we click on a piece, we can catch the pieces of the other color that are inside the margin.
- The program allows jumping to all pieces except pawns and kings.
- Kill the king and win the game . Once we catch the king of the opposite color we win the game and the program does not allow any more moves.
- Once we have won, one point is added to the result of the player who won (which we can see from the
Resultats button).
