There are four categories of user groups: first, staff of the Academic Affairs Office, second, instructors, third, graduates, and fourth, graduation thesis review experts.
(1) Academic staff: Determine the timetable for various tasks of the graduation thesis, the workflow of the graduation thesis, the instructions for filling out the graduation thesis worksheet, and the production of various templates for submitting the graduation thesis (such as the proposal report template, the instructor's guidance record form, Task statement, instructor review form, etc.), determine the list of instructors in each college and the limit on the number of students who can instruct, and set the standard format for thesis.
(2) Instructor: The instructor receives the graduation guidance task, logs in to the system, edits and inputs multiple graduation topics, main work introduction and references for the graduation project, etc. Teachers can leave messages, view student messages or reply to messages. View/edit guidance records, fill in the thesis task statement, view/edit the graduation project form, download the graduation thesis/upload revision comments, and archive the thesis.
(3) Graduates: Log in to the system according to the account assigned by the system, view and modify personal information, view thesis topic/select thesis topic/enter self-selected topic, edit/view guidance records online, edit/view thesis list/generate Thesis form, upload/download graduation thesis, view/reply messages, search archived graduation thesis, ask questions online, edit thesis online, check thesis format and submit.
(4) Review experts: fill in the expert review opinion form, defense status form and score evaluation.
Function description:
(1) Personal information management module: User login, modify/view personal information.
(2) Paper format management module: Set/modify/view the paper standard format. The paper format includes text, headings at all levels, tables, paragraphs, page fonts, font size, spacing, line spacing, page margins, page size, and columns. Count etc.
(3) Online Q&A/Message module: view/reply/delete messages, online Q&A/Ask questions, message objects can be teacher-teacher, teacher-student, student-student, support group messaging, message content can be text, charts, pictures , or even a multimedia video.
(4) Student thesis topic selection module: After selecting the instructor, you can choose the thesis topic provided by the corresponding teacher. You can change the instructor and topic at will before the topic selection deadline and before the topic selection is finalized.
(5) The teacher provides a thesis topic selection module: provide multiple thesis topic selections, and fill in the main work introduction and related references.
(6) Graduation thesis form generation/editing/viewing/download module: The system automatically loads the form template according to the page request information and displays the corresponding form. According to the instructions for filling out the graduation thesis worksheet, teachers and students manage the corresponding forms respectively, generate a Word document submission system, and download the submitted forms.
(7) Paper format check/automatic correction module: Upload the paper to be checked, the system reads the submitted Word paper, matches it with the standard format in the system, prompts text and paragraphs that do not meet the standards, and can automatically correct it. Check the font, size, line spacing of the formatted text and headings at all levels, table headers and tables, page size, page margins, headers and footers, and gutter position.
(8) At the end of the graduation thesis, the review experts will fill in the expert review opinion form based on the thesis review results. After the defense, they will fill in the defense status form and give performance evaluations.
