Versi cepat dari filter waktu yang berkomunikasi menggunakan buffer protokol.
Parameter permintaan jauh lebih terbatas dan hanya waktu perjalanan yang dikembalikan. Selain itu, hasilnya hanya mendekati benar (95% hasil dijamin berada dalam 5% rute yang dikembalikan oleh filter waktu reguler). Ketidakfleksibelan ini memberikan keuntungan berupa waktu respons yang lebih cepat (Lebih dari 5x lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan filter waktu biasa) dan batasan yang lebih besar pada jumlah titik tujuan.
