Step 1: Open Photoshop CS4, execute the [File-Open] command, and open a picture of a palm, as shown in the figure below.

Step 2: Press the [Ctrl+J] keys twice to copy the layer and get two new layers. Change the layer blending mode of the first copied layer to [Hard Light] and the opacity to 70%; change the layer blending mode of the second copied layer to [Soft Light] and change the opacity is 50%. Then press the [Ctrl+Shift+E] keys and execute the [Merge Visible Layers] command to merge the three layers. The effect is as shown in the figure below.
Step 3: Select the [Magic Wand Tool] in the toolbox, set the tolerance to 10, and then click on the black background of the image, then the black background will be selected. (Linqi Zhe’s words: If there are certain areas that are not selected, you can hold down the [Shift] key and click there again) Then execute the [Select-Reverse] command to invert the selection, so that the palm of the hand is selected. , the effect is as shown in the figure below.
Step 4: Press [Ctrl+C] to copy the selected image, and press [Ctrl+V] to paste the image. At this time, a new layer will be obtained. We will name it [Hand]. After hiding the background layer, the effect will be As shown below.
Step 5: Hide the [Hand] layer and show the [Background] layer. Set the foreground color to gray #181818 and the background color to black. Select the [Gradient Tool] in the toolbox and draw a radial gradient from the foreground color to the background color in the picture. The effect is as shown in the picture below.
Step 6: Click the [Create New Layer] button below the layer palette to create a new layer and name it [Cloud].
Press the [D] key to restore the default color settings (black in front and white in back), and then execute the [Filter—Rendering—Clouds] command. Change the blending mode of the layer [Cloud] to [Soft Light], the effect is as shown in the picture below.
Step 7: Create a new layer above the layer [Cloud] and name it [Light]. Select the [Rectangular Marquee Tool] in the toolbox and draw a rectangular selection as shown in the figure below. Then select the [Gradient Tool], confirm that the foreground color is white, and drag a linear gradient from the foreground color to transparent from left to right in the selection. The effect is as shown in the picture below.
