This tutorial briefly introduces some beautification methods for photos of people. From the original image material, we can see that there are many areas that need to be processed, such as background, character beautification and overall color adjustment. You can properly separate the background and characters.

1. Open the original image material, press Ctrl + J to copy the background layer, change the layer blending mode to "Screen", and change the layer opacity to: 50%, the effect is as shown below.

2. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, execute: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, the value is 3, after confirming, hold down the Alt key and click the layer mask button to add the image Layer mask, and then use a white brush to paint the variegated parts of the character's face and skin to smoothen the character's skin.

3. Merge all layers, create a new layer, select the gradient tool color settings as shown in Figure 3, and then pull out the gradient effect shown in Figure 4 from top to bottom.

4. Open the pattern material shown in the picture below, drag it in and place it, then press Ctrl + Alt + ~ to bring up the highlight selection, press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection, then click the mask button and add the layer mask effect as follows Figure 6.

5. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, and execute: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. The value is 5. After confirmation, change the layer opacity to: 40%. The effect is as shown below.

6. Create a new layer, change the layer blending mode to "Color Dodge", select the Elliptical Marquee Tool to pull out the selection shown in Figure 8, press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather the value to 50, and then fill it with the color: #FAF19E , the effect after canceling the selection is shown in Figure 9.

7. Duplicate the layer you just worked on and move it to the upper left corner of the picture. The effect is as shown in Figure 10.

8. Duplicate the background layer, press Ctrl + Shift + ] to move it to the top of the layer, use the pen tool to cut out the character part, copy it to a new layer, and then hide the background copy. The effect is as shown in Figure 11 .
