The original image material does not have many tonal levels, and the overall tones are relatively close. When color correcting, you can enhance certain tones in the image. This can better highlight the theme. In terms of hue, you can adjust it to different colors according to your own preferences.

1. Open the original image material and create a hue/saturation adjustment layer. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 1-3, and the effect is as shown in Figure 4.

2. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, and then execute: Image > Apply Image on the stamped layer. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 5, and the effect is as shown in Figure 6.

3. Press Ctrl + Alt + 1 to bring up the red highlight selection. Press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection. Press Delete to delete. After deselecting, change the layer blending mode to "Color Burn" and add a layer mask with a black brush. Erase out the character's face and background trees. The effect is as shown in Figure 7.

4. Create a curve adjustment layer, set the parameters as shown in Figure 8-10, and the effect as shown in Figure 11.
