Complete the diagram.
1. Create a new 400*400 document with a white background. Press CTRL+R to open the ruler, and draw two reference lines horizontally and vertically to determine the midpoint of the canvas. Create a new layer group and name it "plates". When there are many layers, use layer groups for easier management and the panel will not be too cluttered. Create a new layer within the group, use the Ellipse Tool, press ALT+SHIFT to draw a large circle from the midpoint, set the foreground color to 20% gray, the background color to 35% gray, and fill it with a linear gradient (from upper left to lower right).
2. The layer group is in the shape of a folder, with a small triangle next to it. Click it to expand and collapse the layer group. When the arrow points downward, it expands. At this time, the newly created layer will be in the group, and the arrow points to the right. When the layer is folded, the newly created layer is outside the group. This should be made clear. Do not create the layer outside the group, otherwise the layer group will be created in vain. Let's first see if the layer 1 just now is in the group. Deselect, double layer, set layer style. Select Bevel and Emboss: Size 2, Soften 2, and leave the rest as default.
3. Create a new layer, draw a smaller ellipse from the midpoint, fill it, set the layer style, adjust the fill opacity in Advanced Mixing to 0%, select Bevel and Emboss: Direction Down, Size 3, Soften 5, Dark Adjust the Opacity to 10%.
4. Create a new layer, draw a circle from the center that is smaller than the second layer, feather it to 10, fill it with 35% gray, cancel the selection, and draw a circle from the center that is smaller than the previous one, also feather it to 10, and delete it. The perfect circular selections in these steps are all redrawn without shrinking, because shrinking will cause deformation. The larger the number and the more times, the more severe the deformation will be.
5. When the plate is ready, fold the folder. Create a new layer group, name it "Cup", create a new layer within the group, use the Ellipse Tool to draw a large circle around the mouth of the cup, set the foreground color to 20% gray, the background color to 10% gray, and draw a linear line from the upper left to the lower right. gradient. Save the selection, deselect it, draw a smaller circle and delete it. This inner selection also needs to be saved.
6. After deselecting, double-click the layer and select Bevel and Emboss: Size 3, Soften 3, Dark Opacity 30%, and leave the rest unchanged.
7. Create a new layer below this layer to make the bottom of the cup. Select the outer edge of the cup mouth in the channel. Set the foreground color to 20% gray and the background color to 40%. Pull the radial gradient from the lower right to the upper left.
8. Build another layer below to draw the cup handle. Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool with a radius of about 10 pixels, draw a rounded rectangle at the horizontal guide line, and fill it with a linear gradient. The gradient color can be set as: gray (140/140/140) - white (245/245/245) - gray (145/145/145).
9. Use a rectangular marquee to draw a selection on the upper part, feather 2, and reduce the brightness of the selection. Move the selection to the lower part and also reduce the brightness.
10. Press CTRL+T, drag the anchor point to the center point of the canvas, and rotate it downward about 30 degrees.
11. Add shadow to the cup. Double-click on layer 5 (the one made in step 7) and select Drop Shadow: Opacity 20%, Distance 40, Size 18. The cup is also done. Now make the overall shadow. Expand the plate layer group and create a layer at the bottom. Press CTRL and click on layer 1 to load the selection of the plate. Then press CTRL+SHIFT and click on the cup handle layer to add the cup. Add the handle to the selection, feather it to about 5, and fill it with black. After deselecting the Gaussian Blur to about 8, move it a little further to the lower right.
12. Fold the two layer groups "Plate" and "Cup". Now the layer panel is very clean, with three layers: plate, cup and background. Now to make the drink, create a new layer group on top and name it "tea". Create a new layer within the group, load the selection of the inner edge of the cup mouth into the channel, fill it with (182/171/28), and lower the opacity to 50%.
