Look at the two pictures below. Can you see what they have in common? They are not completely unrelated! Take a closer look at the steam on the pie and the layers of curtains on the stage... In fact, they are all evolved from the filter effect of Filter-Stylize-Wind. The only difference is the subsequent processing. Let’s take a look below!
Production process:
Create a new image file of appropriate size with a black background.
Create a new transparent layer 2, and use a white brush to draw random lines on layer 2, as follows;
Use Filter - Stylize - Wind on layer 2, with the direction from left to right. Use this filter several times, usually about 3 times. The final effect is as follows:
Use Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur, the parameters are shown in the figure below;
How to create a hot air effect:
Continue to use Filter-Distort-Water Wave, parameter settings
The finished effect is as follows
Use the Free Transform tool to rotate the layer 90 degrees counterclockwise, then use the Lasso tool to tuck out the part we need and make a copy, as follows;
Import the cold pie image as follows;
Paste the content you just copied and select the area with the magic wand, as follows;
Use the Free Transform tool to adjust to the appropriate size and position, as follows;
