The background of the original image for this tutorial is very messy and has many color blocks, making the overall look a bit uncomfortable. When processing, you can appropriately darken and blur the background part. In this way, the character part can highlight the character part.

1. Open the original image material, create a gradient mapping adjustment layer, and set the color as shown in Figure 1. After confirmation, change the layer opacity to: 40%, and the effect is as shown in Figure 2.

2. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the neutral color. The parameter settings are as shown in Figure 3, and the effect is as shown in Figure 4.

3. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer, then change the layer blending mode to "Overlay", hold down the Alt key and click the mask button below the layer panel to add a layer mask. Then use a white brush to paint out the selected area in Figure 5. The effect is as shown in Figure 6.

6. Create a new layer, stamp the layer, and execute: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. The value is 5. After confirmation, add a layer mask and erase the character and the lower half, as shown in Figure 13.
