Create a new document in Photoshop with a size of 1440×900 pixels, and then move the material image into the document.
Go to Layer > Layer Style > Color Overlay. Set the blending mode to Soft Light and the color to brown (#8b5c01).
Next, we'll create a brush to make some shapes. Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool and create a black rectangle. Then run Edit>Transform Path>Bevel. Next, run Layer > Rasterize. The image below can be used as a reference.
Right-click on the layer thumbnail and press Select Pixels. Then run Edit > Define Brush Preset, create a brush, and rename it PSDTUTS. Then run the Brushes palette (Window > Brushes) and edit the PSDTUTS brush we just created. The settings are shown below.
Create a new layer and go to Layer > Layer Style. We apply some styles in this layer. We will apply gradient overlay, drop shadow, inner shadow. Then select the Brush Tool (B) and click a few more times to create some shapes.
Right-click the layer on the Layers palette. Select the copy layer style. Then create a new layer. Right-click on the new layer again. Now select the Paste layer style. Next, select the Brush Tool and click a few more times to create some additional shapes.
Repeat step six two more times.
