Nowadays, many families have more than one computer, often a desktop, a laptop or more. So how to organize the computers in the home more rationally and share resources between them more efficiently? A home network auxiliary feature called Home Group has been added to the Windows 7 system. Through this feature, we can more easily share documents, music, photos and other resources among family computers, and can also more conveniently control printers. shared. Next, Qizai will try out the homegroup function of Windows 7 with everyone.
First open Windows 7 Explorer and click "Home Network Group" in the list on the left. Then we can see the setting area of the home network group in the interface on the right. If there are currently no other created home network groups in your home network, then you will see a button to create a home network group. Click it to start the easy creation process.
Figure 1 Create a home network group
In the wizard to create a home network group, we first select the file types we want to share with the home network group. By default, five options are included: pictures, music, videos, documents, and printers. The first four of them correspond to several shared folders that exist by default in the warehouse.

Next, the home network group creation wizard will automatically generate a string of passwords that must be entered when other computers in the family are added to the network group. In this interface, the password is automatically generated and cannot be changed manually. You must think that this password is too complex and difficult to remember, right? Qizai feels the same way! But don't worry, the password generated here doesn't make much sense. We can manually set an easy-to-remember password later.

At this point we have completed the creation of the home network group. It is indeed very simple, right? Returning to the home network group interface of the resource manager, we can now see a new "scene": the interface lists the steps for other computers to join the home network group, and also provides the ability to view the home network group password. and set options.
