The past three months of full-time SEO work have given me a lot of emotions and gains. From the time I took over two "hemiplegic" websites to the steady increase in rankings, I have summarized a set of my own, which may also be suitable for those Optimization methods for webmasters who have just started doing SEO.
Okay, without further ado, let’s get straight to the topic.
In fact, when we decide to enter an industry, the first thing you have to do is to analyze the current competition in this industry to see whether it is very fierce or not competitive enough. After the analysis, if the competition is not big, then we will directly focus on popular keywords and directly optimize your target keywords; if you are engaged in an industry with very fierce competition, my advice is: everyone Starting with long-tail keywords, this is also the final theme of this article.
Speaking of which, what are the specific long-tail keywords? For example: For the clothing industry I am engaged in, "fashionable women's clothing" is a keyword. Through analysis, we can clearly find that the competition for the keyword "fashionable women's clothing" is very fierce, and its long-tail keywords should include "the most popular "Fashionable women's clothing", "Fashionable women's clothing store", "Chengdu's best fashionable women's clothing store" and so on.
If we immediately optimize "fashionable women's clothing" from the beginning, it will be very difficult. We may not see any effect for a long time. Just imagine when you spend so much energy and time on this word, but it But what do you think when it doesn't work? And if we start with "the best fashionable women's clothing store in Chengdu", then "the best fashionable women's clothing store", then "fashionable women's clothing store" and finally "fashionable women's clothing", we can quickly See the results. On the other hand, from the customer's perspective, when a woman wants to buy fashionable women's clothing, what will she search for first? Maybe she is likely to search for "the best fashionable women's clothing store in Chengdu", but she should rarely search for "fashionable women's clothing" immediately.
Now that we understand this process, how should we start optimizing long-tail keywords?
From the perspective of a search engine, when crawling an article, it will definitely pay attention to the title of the article, the first 200 words before the beginning, and the last paragraph. Therefore, we need to start optimizing from the title first. The title should be novel and preferably contain the long-tail keywords we want to optimize. If not, it doesn’t matter. Distribute your long-tail keywords in the first 200 words of the article. You can also add long-tail keywords at the end of the article, and it is more advisable to echo the beginning and end. However, you need to pay attention to the fact that you cannot deliberately add long-tail keywords. Search engines will judge the smoothness and relevance of the article. Spiders will generally crawl the article well. Because we want to optimize this long-tail keyword, of course it is not the only article that contains this long-tail keyword. We need to add an anchor text link to the last article to add the long-tail keywords in this article. Link to the previous article or other articles containing this long-tail keyword, so that these related articles can be connected with each other, so that a spider web is formed. When a spider crawls to a certain article containing a long tail one day, it can also crawl other connected articles.
It should be noted that you should not add long-tail keywords to every article in order to optimize this long-tail. This is likely to be regarded as cheating by search engines, and the gain outweighs the loss. Therefore, it should be done in an appropriate amount and in an orderly manner. Don't do it deliberately! Dig out one or two hundred long tails every month and insert them into relevant pages appropriately for optimization. In two months, we will feel that there will be obvious changes in our website. When I optimized the two websites www.dadixie.com and www.haibianyizu.com , the traffic of the two websites was low and the bounce rate was high in the first month (because the long-tail search volume was small, so I optimized less long-tail). Due to the accumulation of many long-tail keywords, my site traffic began to slowly increase, and the bounce rate began to decrease significantly. Finally, the ranking of the target keywords began to change significantly, and I have now achieved a good ranking.
This is a bit of personal experience. I very much agree with Mr. Wu Wei’s statement that “seo is good thinking and execution.” As long as you insist on using appropriate methods to optimize, search engines will surprise you. I hope my article can be helpful to everyone, and I also wish all webmasters can become a qualified, excellent and profitable SEOer!
