Use Photoshop to create a miniature landscape effect. This is a very simple tutorial that allows you to modify an image into a miniature landscape effect:
1. Choose a picture that is suitable for showing a miniature landscape. The picture below is a picture of a train station. The train in the vicinity is the main part, and the countryside and railways in the distance can be used as the background part.
2 Press the Q key to enter the quick mask mode, select the default color in the palette, that is, the foreground color is black and the background color is white, select the gradient tool, and select the reflection gradient mode.
3. In the part where we want to create depth of field, hold down the shift key and pull out the gradient effect. Please pay attention to the direction.
4 The gradient effect is as shown below:
We press the Q key again to return to the default editing mode. At this time, the area where we previously pulled out the gradient effect in the quick mask mode will become a selection area:
5 In the filter menu, select Blur > Lens Blur and set the parameters:
6 After performing the blur, you will have the image you want. Now, I want to make the image more like a toy, so that it has a miniature effect. Press Ctrl + U to increase the saturation of some images, so that a miniature landscape picture is completed.
