This tutorial briefly introduces how to add a blurred background to a picture. When making it, the patterns added with filters are relatively uniform. You need to find a way to make them more casual. Everyone can create different effects according to their own preferences.
1. Open the original image and use the brush tool to paint the background first. The effect is as shown in Figure 1.

2. Press Ctrl + J to copy a layer, execute the menu: Filter > Pixelate > Dotted, and set the parameters as shown in Figure 2. After confirmation, change the layer blending mode to "Multiply", and then add a layer mask. Use a black paintbrush to erase the character part, the effect is as shown in Figure 3

Create a new layer, press the letter "D" to restore the front background color to the default black and white, then execute the menu: Filter > Render > Clouds, and after confirmation, change the layer blending mode to "Overlay". Then add a mask to erase the character part, the effect is as shown in Figure 4

4. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E to stamp the layer, and then change the layer blending mode to "Soft Light", the effect is as shown in Figure 5

5. Create a new layer, press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E to stamp the layer, simply smooth the skin on the character, and then adjust the color effect as shown in Figure 6
<Picture 6> 6. Press Ctrl + J to make a copy of the layer you just stamped, execute the menu: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, the value is 3, and then change the layer blending mode to "Soft Light", as shown in the figure Change the layer opacity to: 70%, the effect is as shown in Figure 7

7. Merge all layers, adjust the overall color and sharpen it appropriately to complete the final effect.
