This tutorial mainly introduces the production of background effects. The tutorial uses filter effects many times to slowly transform the background into the effect you want.

1. Open the picture and copy the background layer twice
2. Outline the character on the top layer.
3. Double-click the layer to bring up the layer style, select the projection parameter settings as shown below
4. Select layer 1 and execute: Filter > Blur > Special blur parameter settings as shown below
5. Press Ctrl + I to invert
6. Return to the background layer, set the foreground color to black, select the menu: Image > Mapping > Gradient mapping parameter settings as shown below
7. Execute: Filter > Pixelate > Color Halftone Maximum Radius is set to 4 pixels, and everything else is set to 45
8. Finally, drag the two prepared rectangular strips onto the layer in a crosswise manner and add a dialog box and text to complete the final effect.
