The characters in the photo are a little blurry, mainly due to inaccurate focus. If you directly use the USM filter to sharpen, you cannot identify the true outline of the image, but only rely on identifying the contrast between pixels, so you need the help of channels!
1. Activate the channel panel, observe the three RGB channels, and find that the information in the red channel is richer and of higher quality, so I decided to use the red channel to work. Duplicate the red channel as a copy of the red channel. Execute Filter-Stylize-Lighten Edges, the parameters are as shown in the figure
2. Gaussian blur on the red channel copy, as shown in the figure

3. Use the color level command to adjust the red channel copy. The parameters are as shown in the figure.
4. Set the foreground color to black, choose the appropriate brush tool to paint out the parts that do not need to be sharpened, such as the distant scenery, etc.
5. The selection has been made, then load the red copy channel as the selection, return to the layer panel, copy the background one layer, and do not cancel the selection. Execute Filter-Art Effect-Painting, the parameters are as shown in the figure
6. Then copy the background copy to background copy 1, move background copy 1 below the background copy, change the transparency of background copy 1 to 30%, and change the background copy to screen color, in order to slightly brighten the picture.
