There are four different starting races in Alaloth - Champion of The Four Kingdoms, these include Humans, Orcs, Dwarves, and Elves. Across these four races, each offers various pros and cons making them unique in their own right. But to truly make your character shine, you must create a build that compliments their bonuses. So, here's a complete breakdown of how you can build your Elf character in Alaloth.

Best Way of Power Build for Elves in Alaloth

To capitalize on the bonus perks you get from being an Elf, the best class to compliment the character would be the Rogue class. It provides solid early-game damage which translates into even higher burst damage in the late game.

Here's each of the skills you should get, and how it can help you build a strong elven character:

1	Viper's Kiss	The first skill to unlock with your character. Requires you to have a dagger equipped to cast, but can help you deal good burst damage. Extremely useful in 1v1 situations

7	Rain of Razors	Your main AoE skill to help you deal with hordes of enemies. The better throwing daggers you have, the stronger this skill becomes.
10	Vanish	Let's you go invisible and when you attack an enemy while in this state you have an increased (+30%) Critical Chance.
14	Rogue's Apex	Unlocks the 'Ambush' trait for your character that provides an additional (+15%) increase in damage when you attack any target from the back.

Along with these five skills, you can unlock one more skill which can vary based on your playstyle. If you want more damage, then 'Ring of Pain' would be a good choice as it buffs your damage while decreasing skill cost. For extra mobility, you can choose 'Charge' as your final skill as well.

Dexterity: Dexterity is the main stat that you should focus on when playing an Elf character in Alaloth. You should prioritize this stat from level one till you reach level nine. You'll get +10% Critical Chance along with +10% Focus Regen, which means more DPS, and more skills.
Strength: Once you've maxed out your Dexterity, you can use your remaining Stat Points on Strength. When you reach level 20, you'll gain an additional 30% Physical Damage along with 10% Skill Cooldown Reduction, making you extremely strong in the late game.

Best Fighting Style for Elves in Alaloth

Out of the four fighting styles in Alaloth, the best choice for your Elven character would be Dual Wielding. As the skills heavily rely on using daggers (both regular and throwing), choosing dual wielding allows you to start with two daggers, and also equip them later on in the game.

Moreover, Dual Wielding has the highest DPS across all other fighting styles based on normal attacks alone. The only downside is the lack of defense, which can be made up by recruiting companions to support your character.

Bingel: Provides you extra (+8%) Critical Chance which is ideal for your Elf character as their skills heavily rely on critical damage. You lose -50 Maximum Focus which can be recouped with better equipment.
Idaris: Provides you with +10% Critical Damage and +10% Physical Damage in exchange for +5% Magic Damage Vulnerability. The debuff gets canceled by the elf's race buff, essentially providing you extra DPS with no downside.
Ulher: Provides you a flat +30% increase in Gold gain without any downside. A safe choice if you don't want permanent debuffs, and also helps you buy better gear faster.

How To Play Elves in Alaloth

Elves are the most nimble characters you can have in Alaloth. Because of their quick movements and high burst damage, they rely on quick successive attacks followed by dodges to recover Focus while maintaining distance between enemies.

1v1 Combat: If you find yourself in a 1v1 situation with your Elf Character, then you're in luck. All you need to do is use Phantom Blink or Vanish, whichever you've unlocked first and charge at the enemy. Once you're in close range, use Viper's Kiss followed by a triple light attack combo to finish off almost any enemy.
Multiple Enemies: If you're up against a horde of enemies, which is common especially against necromancers or in goblin regions, you'll have to use a different strategy. If you're alone, first you need to get off the radar by using Vanish, then use Rain of Razors at a spot where you can hit the most number of enemies. Repeat this till you finish off most enemies.
