Create a glass-effect Olympic emblem with Photoshop. Let’s take a look at the effect first:

Production process:
1. Create a new file, open the logo picture as shown in Figure 01, use the "Magic Wand Tool" in the toolbox to select the logo, drag it into the file, automatically generate layer 1, and fill it with black, the effect is as follows As shown in Figure 02.
2. Press the Ctrl key and click on layer 1 to bring up the logo selection, switch to the channel panel, and click the "Save selection as channel" button at the bottom of the panel to save the selection as a channel, as shown in Figure 03.
3. Select Alpha 1 in the channel panel, cancel the selection, execute the "Filter", "Artistic Effects" and "Plastic Packaging" commands in the menu bar, and set the parameters in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 04. The image effect is as shown in Figure 04. 05 shown.
4. Execute the "Filter", "Sketch" and "Chrome Yellow" commands in the menu bar, set the parameters in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 06, and the screen effect is as shown in Figure 07.
5. Execute the "Select" and "Load Selection" commands in the menu bar, set the parameters in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 08, and the image effect is as shown in Figure 09.
6. Press Ctrl+C keys, switch to the layer panel, close layer 1, create a new layer 2, confirm layer 2 as the current layer, press Ctrl+V keys, paste the content in the channel into the layer, the effect As shown in Figure 10.
7. Click the "Create New Group" button at the bottom of the layer panel, create a new layer group 1, and drag layer 2 to group 1 so that layer 2 becomes a layer in the layer group.
8. Select layer 2, click the "Create new fill or adjustment layer" button at the bottom of the layer panel, select the "Hue/Saturation" command in the pop-up menu, and proceed in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 11 With the settings shown, the screen effect is shown in Figure 12.
9. Drag layer group 1 to the "New Layer" button at the bottom of the panel, copy it 3 times, first close group 1 copy 2 and group 1 copy 3, click the triangle icon of group 1 copy, and Open it, press the Ctrl key and click layer 3 in the layer group to bring up the logo selection, execute the "Select", "Modify" and "Shrink" commands in the menu bar, and set the parameters in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 13 As shown, the image effect is shown in Figure 14.
10. Select layer 3 and click the "Add Layer Mask" button at the bottom of the layer panel to add a layer mask to layer 3. Double-click on the adjustment layer of the copy of layer group 1 to open the "Hue/Saturation" dialog box. The settings are as shown in Figure 15, and the adjusted image effect is as shown in Figure 16.
11. Place the mouse between the adjustment layer and layer 3, press the Alt key, change the shape of the mouse and click to create a clipping mask, as shown in Figure 17, and the image effect is shown in Figure 18.
12. Select layer 3 in the copy of layer group 1, execute the "Filter", "Blur" and "Gaussian Blur" commands in the menu bar, and set the parameters in the pop-up dialog box as shown in Figure 19. The image effect is as shown in Figure 19 20 shown.
13. Click the triangle icon of copy 2 of group 1 to open the layer group and delete the adjustment layer in it. Select layer 4, change the layer blending mode to "Multiply", and set the layer's opacity to 35%. The effect is shown in Figure 21.
14. Select layer 4 as the current layer, select the move tool in the toolbox, press the right and down arrow keys on the keyboard 3 times each, then hold down the Ctrl key and click on layer 4 to bring up the selection, press Click on layer 3 while holding the Ctrl+Alt keys to get the subtracted selection. The effect is as shown in Figure 22. Invert the selection and press the Delete key to delete the excess content in layer 4. The effect after canceling the selection is as shown in Figure 23. Show.
15. Display the group 1 copy 3 layer group, delete the adjustment layer in it, the effect is as shown in Figure 24, select layer 5 in the layer group, and change the blending mode of layer 5 to "Color Burn" , the final effect of the glass Olympic logo is shown in Figure 25.
