01. Open the picture, ctrl+j, get layer 1

03. Execute Image--Adjustment--Decolorize on layer 1. (shortcut key shift+ctrl+u)
04. Continue to execute Image--Adjustment--Levels (shortcut key ctrl+l), and use a black straw to click on the red circle on the kitten's head.
05. Set the layer mode to Screen.
