Open the image in Photsohop and press Ctrl+J to duplicate one layer.

Since the final effect of this example is a bit hazy, you can use the blur tool directly without retaining the texture. Directly smooth the skin color of the character. The settings are as shown in the figure.

Image. Apply Image. The mode is Screen Color. The purpose is to brighten the screen.

Select the layer copy Ctrl+Alt+~select the highlight.Ctrl+J to copy

Continue to select the background copy layer. Shift+F7 to invert the selection. This will select the dark tone. Ctrl+J to copy

Select the background copy layer. Image. Calculate. Select red and gray, check the invert below. Calculate until Alpha1. Load the selection. Return to the RGB channel, Ctrl+J to copy. This step is to select the midtones of the image

Arrange them in order. Name them Highlight, Midtones and Darktones respectively. Set the highlight layer blending mode to Screen, and the other two layers blending mode to Normal.

Select the dark tone layer. Apply the noise reduction filter to the dark tone layer. It is mainly used for sharpening. (USM sharpening is not used here because the noise reduction sharpening will look more delicate)
Press Ctrl+F to repeat

If you feel it's too sharp, you can fade it out a bit.

Apply Filter Blur Gaussian Blur to the midtone layer

Reduce noise on the highlight layer. Repeat Ctrl+F to increase the effect.
