1. Create a new 500px * 290px file background in Photoshop and fill it with dark blue: #253866 to highlight the color of the snowflakes (Figure 1). Then select the text tool and type the text font. Please choose a thicker font so that the effect will be more obvious!
2. Use the lasso tool to make the snow cover on the text, as shown in Figure 2. First cut out a part, and then hold down the Shift key to cut out the next part. The completed effect is as shown in Figure 3.
3. Cut out the selection and click on the channel panel, create a new channel, then fill it with white, select the menu: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur value is 3. After confirmation, press Ctrl + L. The color adjustment parameter settings are as shown in Figure 4. After confirmation Press Ctrl to click on the channel to bring up the selection, then go back to the layer panel and create a new layer filled with white as shown in Figure 5.
4. Double-click the layer to bring up the layer style, select "Bevel and Emboss" parameter settings as shown in Figure 6, and the effect is shown in Figure 7
5. Create a new layer above the text, use the Lasso tool to cut out the snowy area under the text, and then press Ctrl + Alt + D to feather 3 pixels, and then fill it with white as shown in Figure 8
6. Return to the text layer, double-click the layer to open the layer style, set the parameters as shown in Figure 9-12, and the effect as shown in Figure 13
7. Return to the background layer and select the gradient tool to draw the gradient effect as shown in Figure 14.
8. Create a new layer above the background layer, use the brush tool to select the snowflake brush, and click on the snowflakes appropriately to complete the final effect.
