1. Use a digital airbrush in PT to set the opacity to 5% and the concentration to 35%. Use black and white to directly pop out the general color blocks, grasp the form, and then pay attention to the light and shadow.
2. Then reduce the diameter of the brush and draw the facial features. During the process, adjust the opacity and concentration in time as needed. Roughly determine the position of the facial features. At this time, don't worry about whether it is too soft or not. We will deal with it later.
3. Use the water-added pen of the blender pen to soften the shadows on the face, and constantly use the airbrush to correct the uncomfortable areas, then add water, spray, add water...it takes time and effort.
4. Once the shadows are done, you can start to draw the facial features in depth. At this time, don’t worry, change to a fine airbrush, and draw the facial features one stroke at a time. Let’s talk about the eyes later. After all, the eyes are very important~~ Nothing to say Yes, one needs to be careful and one needs to have an impression of the person’s facial features in the mind (nonsense haha~~). Then draw a small ornament to liven up the atmosphere.
5. Use an airbrush to roughly draw the hair according to the direction of the hair. Personally, I would like to draw the hair last. Because I don’t like working with multiple layers. I always draw the background after the character is drawn, and then draw the hair. I know it is not a good habit, too It's hard to change.
6. The steps are the same as painting the face. Take out part of the hat and clothes. There is nothing to say about this step. Refine, refine, refine...
7. Draw the right hand. It turns out that the hand is more difficult to draw than the face. It takes a long time to draw. It seems that I will have to practice more hand drawing in the future. Do you feel something about it now?
8. The clothes and background are all done. Before this step, everything was painted in black and white. Pay attention! The eyes are also drawn. It really looks better after adding highlights. It didn’t take a long time in vain... Now you are 10 meters away from the monitor. Meters, does it look like the photo? It must be 10 meters, otherwise it would be time to see the painting...
9. Still use the airbrush to draw the necklace and earrings. You can increase the opacity when speaking. Then use the hard pastel crayon to adjust the paper texture into fine dots and draw the gauze on the hat and clothes. Pay attention here. The brush strokes should separate the virtual and the real.
Now start converting the software to PS! (I always draw on the background layer) Use a quick mask to carefully cut out the skin part in PS, and save the selection for future convenience~! Select the skin part and adjust the brightness and contrast, making the skin look fair.
11. Use CTRL+SHIFT+I to invert the selected area, and now process the clothes and background. Press CTRL+H to hide the selected area for easy observation. Go to Image--Adjustment--Hue/Saturation, and click 'Colorization' there. Adjust to the color you like. I like something a little more subtle.
12. Then invert the selection again. Select the skin, create a new layer, change the attribute to 'color' and start to roughly depict the skin. Here I use a brush with a hardness of 0% and lower the opacity. Pay attention to the change in tone.
13. After the face is roughly colored, merge the layers, burn/dodge, and blur locally.
14. I copied a layer of the lips, then executed 'Filter--Noise--Add Noise', then checked 'Gaussian Distribution' and adjusted the values to your satisfaction. Then use the eraser tool to erase the unnecessary ones. Part. This is the finished effect. I colored the jewelry by the way. Or use the airbrush. Tips: If you think the skin transition in a certain part is not natural enough, copy the layer and select 'Filter--Noise--Dust and scratches' Mark', adjust to your satisfaction. Then use the eraser tool to lower the opacity, erase the original parts of the copied layer that you are satisfied with, and then merge the layers. You can do this repeatedly.
15. Add lace to the clothes. Use brown, yellow, white and freehand doodles, haha, finally use the burn and dodge tool to process the light and shadow and it will be OK.
16. Add color to the hat and bottom of the clothes. The method is the same as painting the face.
17. Now turn to PT. I feel that PT is convenient for painting hair. It can rotate the canvas very conveniently. First create a new layer, use an airbrush to draw the dark side, and then use the dry brush in the Bingxi brush to use brown on the highlights. Paint a few strokes to make it look like hair.
18. Use the water pen in the blending pen to soften the junction of light and dark, as well as the edge of the hair, so that the picture does not look stiff.
19. Now use a thin dry brush to choose a slightly darker color and increase the strokes, but not so big that they form a flat surface. This is to draw hair, not a helmet.
20. Use an airbrush to do the final processing for the dark side. Then adjust the diameter of the pen to 1, choose brown to draw the highlight part and the hair edges of the hair one by one. Then select a light color and draw it again. Pay attention to the direction of the hair, but don't make it all neat and unnatural. In this way, the hair is completed.
21. It’s time to talk about the patterns on the clothes. First find a pattern, create a new layer and add it (this conversion process is taught in many PS tutorials, so I won’t go into it here.) Then erase the background and skin parts. pattern.
22. Lower the opacity of the eraser tool and erase the pattern around the highlights on the clothing. Then merge the layers and sign. That’s it. I don’t know if you can understand these processes. I’m not very good at writing. I don’t understand. Just ask me about everything, I’ll tell you everything you know~!
Two final details
