Use Photoshop to create cool and fashionable 3D text

This tutorial introduces the use of PS to create 3D word effects. Since the production steps are relatively complicated, this tutorial focuses on the production method of one of the word effects. The other words are completely similar. You need to adjust the lightness of the layer when making it!

1. Create a new file of 600 * 350 pixels, fill the background with black, and then add text. The font color is: #328A1C. Delete the text layer. The approximate effect is as shown in Figure 1.

2. Press Ctrl + T to deform the text appropriately. This needs to be grasped according to the needs of the actual text. Give the text a sense of perspective.

3. Select the gradient tool, set the color as shown in Figure 3, then lock the layer as shown in Figure 4, and add a gradient color to the text, the effect is as shown in Figure 4

4. Make a copy of the text layer, fill the copy with color: #328A1C, press Ctrl + [ to move the layer down, then hold down the Alt key, move the direction icon on the small keyboard left and down to copy, after copying The approximate effect is shown in Figure 5, and then merge these copied layers into one layer.

5. Use the Dodge and Burn tools to paint the highlights and shadows, as shown in Figure 6

6. Return to the gradient layer above, press Ctrl + J to make a copy, press Ctrl to bring up the selection of the layer, execute the menu: Select > Modify > Shrink, the value is 4, and then directly add a mask.

7. Return to the middle layer and use the Dodge and Burn tools to slowly apply highlights and shadows as shown in Figure 8. The roughly completed effect is shown in Figure 9.

8. Other text is made using the same method, and finally background effects and patterns are added to complete the final effect.
