Path is a very magical tool. It uses Bezier curves to create shapes. You can draw any shape, and you can re-edit the shape at will after it is established. This meets our needs for free creation and is no longer afraid of appearing. The painting is bad at the beginning and cannot be modified later.
If you are still using the method of switching tools and modifying the path bit by bit, it will be too troublesome. Follow Teacher Qi and learn to use shortcut keys, which can improve your work efficiency while ensuring quality.
First, we create an 800*600 pixel RGB color and white background image for learning. Under normal circumstances, the path is created with a pen. The first letter of the English spelling of pen is P, so we can press the P key on the keyboard and we can see on the toolbar that we switch directly to the pen tool.
Use the pen tool to click on the screen, and a small black square will appear, which we call an anchor point, or control point. Click again in another position to create a new anchor point and connect a line between the two points. We call the line connecting the anchor points a segment. If we drag while the mouse is pressed, we can draw the curve segment and pull out the control stick at the same time. If we drag without releasing the mouse, we can change the direction and length of the control rod, and the curve segment will also change. The control rod controls the bending direction and curvature of the curve segment.
Beginners must be careful to distinguish clips from levers. Fragments are the connecting lines between anchor points and are part of the path we draw. The control rods are on both sides of the anchor points. They can affect the shape of the fragment by changing its direction and length. They are an auxiliary tool for us to modify the shape of the path. When we press the left mouse button on the screen, the position of the anchor point has been determined. When dragging the mouse, the direction and length of the control rod can be modified.
Next we learn how to quickly switch tools to modify paths.
Press the P key to switch to the Pen tool in the toolbar. On the property bar, check the "Automatically add/remove" option to quickly switch to the Add Anchor Point Tool and Delete Anchor Point Tool. When you place the mouse on a fragment, the tool automatically changes to the Add Anchor Point tool. Press the left mouse button to add a new anchor point. When you place the mouse on an anchor point, it automatically changes to the Delete Anchor Point tool. Press Click the left mouse button to delete this anchor point. Using this method, we can quickly change the shape of the path, adding anchor points to complicate it to create more detail, or removing anchor points to simplify the path and create a smoother shape.
