This example introduces the use of PS CS3 to create a romantic and dreamy scene effect from the cold moon. The tutorial explains how to adjust a picture of the moon through color balance, then use the selection tool to change the moon into a crescent shape, and then use Gaussian blur Make modifications with the star brush to complete the initial effect. I also introduced how to make the bright moon on the sea. I hope it can be helpful to my friends~~
Final effect:
1. Let’s first find a picture of the moon
2. Because the background is relatively pure black, we can use the "Magic Wand Tool", select the tolerance of 10, and click on the black background to select the background frame.
Of course, the border will not be smooth. We use "Adjust Edges", adjust "Smooth" to above 45, feather 1 pixel, shrink/expand: 30%
Then, ctrl+shift+I, invert the selection, so that the moon is selected, copy and paste it to a new layer (Layer 1)
3. Below layer 1, create a new "layer 2" and fill it with black
4. On layer 1, use "Image" - "Adjustments" - "Color Balance"
The "Color Balance" reference values are "Shadows: -66, +15, +50", "Midtones: -40, +35, +50", "Highlights: -13, +23, +75"
5. Hold down ctrl and click "Layer 1", select the moon, create a new "Layer 3", fill it with black, and then "ctrl+T" to transform, fill 95% for W (width) and 95% for H (height) Fill in 90%
Then use the "Move" tool to move the black circle to the appropriate position. This step is mainly to visually see clearly which part of the moon can be deleted to form the crescent moon.
6. Hold down ctrl and click "Layer 3", select the black circle, click "Layer 1", and use Delete to delete the selected part. In this way, we will get a blue crescent. Then, Layer 3 Can be deleted
7.ctrl+J Copy "Layer 1" to get "Layer 1 Copy"
In "Layer 1", use "Filter" - "Gaussian Blur", "Radius": 15, to create a halo outside the moon.
8. A moon is a bit lonely. We can use the star brush to add some stars around the moon, but not too bright, so as not to take away the charm of the protagonist.
Advanced version
1. We first press "ctrl+alt+C" to bring up "canvas size", lengthen the length of the canvas, and fill the lengthened part with black
