This article introduces how to draw three-dimensional luminous arrows using Photoshop. The steps are very simple and the effect is very good. Let’s try it together!
Create a new document of suitable size in Photoshop, fill it with your favorite background color, and pick a ready-made arrow pattern from the shape library in the toolbox.
Drag the existing arrow shape pattern on the background. The color does not matter. After applying the style, the effect of the arrow will change accordingly.
Name the layer containing the arrows "TOP ARROW". Select the Move Tool, hold down the Alt key, and then alternately press the "Down" arrow key and the "Right" arrow key about 20-40 times to get a thick three-dimensional arrow. The operation just now will produce many layers. Select the top layer and press "ctrl + e" multiple times to merge the newly created layers. Be careful not to merge the "TOP ARROW" layer and the background layer. Name this merged layer "bottom arrow", fill it with red, and move it below the "TOP ARROW" layer. There should now be three layers on the layer panel, from top to bottom they are the "TOP ARROW" layer, the "bottom arrow" layer, and the background layer.
Add a Shadow layer style to the "bottom arrow" layer. The settings are as shown below
Your arrow should now look like the image below.
Use the Pen Tool to create a shape as shown in the dotted line below and convert it to a selection
