Does anyone feel that the taskbar preview window of Windows 7 is too small? If you have this confusion, then today I will teach you how to adjust its size:
Step 1: Open Registry Editor
(Start, run..., type regedit and press Enter; you can also press the win key + R key, type regedit and press Enter; you can also open Windows 7 Optimization Master, click the system toolbox to open the registry editor)
Step 2: Find HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerTaskband in the directory on the left
Step 3: Right-click the blank space on the right and select New—DWORD (32-bit) value, named MinThumbSizePx
Step 4: Double-click the newly created MinThumbSizePx key value, and then enter the preview window size you expect to adjust in "Value Data".
The default is about 200, you can try adjusting it to 300, and for "base" on the right, choose decimal. Click OK to close the registry.
Step 5: Log out as a user and log in again to see that the preview window has become larger! (You can also end the explorer.exe process and then open the explorer process)
What? Do you want to restart? Sure is ok too!
The way to change it back: delete the MinThumbSizePx!
OK, let’s take a look at the comparison picture before and after the adjustment. Is it bigger?
(Before adjustment, the flash game preview window in the middle had about 3 icons)
(After adjustment, the flash icon in the middle is probably a little more than 5 icons)
