I often receive advertising messages for blog promotion software recently, and I don’t know where they got my QQ number from. Today, a friend asked me about promotion. He works on Taobao and wants to promote his blog through several large blogging platforms. It attracted some traffic, but the effect was always unsatisfactory. What's the problem? Haha, just look at his promotion method. Use software to gain popularity.
Think about it carefully, what is the essence of blog promotion, is it the number of beautiful IPs every day, or the loyal bloggers attracted by the blog content. A blog is about content, not how many articles you have, nor how many views you have. Of course, the last two items are the basis for your blog promotion. Using blogs to create long-tail keywords and doing SEO also require patience and care.
Using software to promote a blog and get a lot of views is tantamount to destroying the team leader. What you end up with is a seemingly staggering amount of access data. Needless to say, my thoughts on the wrong promotion methods of blogs:
1 The core of blogging is content
Fake traffic is tantamount to abandoning the most essential thing about blogging. When we are still immersed in endless joy and greatly satisfied our vanity, however, who knows that the traffic of the blog is just for return visits? The purpose of Sina Blog and NetEase Blog being launched on these large platforms is to use this platform to better communicate with other bloggers, instead of being filled with spam comments. When your content is flooded with fake traffic, you will only be drowned in spam comments. Everyone's purpose of starting a blog is different, but the most important thing is that you want your content to be seen by real users and real customers. This is true when doing Taobao, and even more so when doing blog promotion.
2 Promotion depends on the effect
Those who do Taobao, of course, want to make money from blogging. A friend makes women's clothing, and I see that most of his blogs are about women, such as fashionable women's clothing. Despite the title, the article is basically a direct reprint of store information. It looks bland and nothing new. If he were a real visitor, he would probably jump out immediately. It can be said that the conversion rate of blogs is basically non-existent. Of course, such a blog cannot achieve the promotion effect. But dreaming of using numbers to achieve conversion rates will never work.
3 Seriously undermine your self-confidence and promote your laziness
Learning and promotion lies in practice. Practice is both bitter and joyful, and even though it is bitter, I don’t think I can stick to it until the end. Promotion is inherently a long and arduous process. Those who promote software will tell you that in this era, we are still posting blog posts by hand and making external links by hand. To do promotion, you need to know your brain, and leave this repetitive work to the program. By using software from the beginning, we are giving up something we hold on to.
This is the understanding of blogging promotion. Of course, it does not rule out that blogging has unique uses in some fields. Would love to see some empirical articles on this.
