This tutorial introduces non-mainstream effects similar to illustration style. Idea: The focus is on color matching and texture creation. The texture in this tutorial is mainly reflected in the raindrops in the picture and the dark light texture similar to hand painting. There are many ways to do it, and you can try more.
1. Open the original image and press Ctrl + J to copy a layer. Press Ctrl + U to adjust the hue/saturation. Select the yellow parameter settings as shown in Figure 1. After confirmation, execute the menu: Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur value is 3, and then set Change the layer blending mode to "Hue" 2. Create a new layer, set the foreground color to: #E672DE, and set the background color to black. Execute the menu: Filter > Rendering > Clouds. After confirmation, change the layer blending mode to " "Color Burn", then add a layer mask to erase the part except the umbrella.
3. Create an adjustment layer and select hue/saturation. The parameter settings are as shown in the figure.
4. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + E to stamp the layer, execute the menu: Filter > Sketch > Drawing Pen, set the parameters as shown below, after confirmation, change the layer blending mode to "Soft Light", as shown in the figure Change the layer opacity to: 50%, and add a mask to erase the character’s face.
5. Make a copy of the background layer, press Ctrl + Shift + ] to move it to the top and change the layer blending mode to "Hue"
6. Merge all layers, click on the channel panel, click on the green channel and press Ctrl + A to select all, press Ctrl + C to copy, click on the blue channel and press Ctrl + V to paste, return to the layer panel
7. Create a new layer with fill color: #145E32, then change the layer blending mode to "Soft Light" and the layer opacity to: 50%
8. Merge all layers and sharpen them appropriately, press Ctrl + J to duplicate a layer, and change the layer blending mode to "Soft Light" to complete the final effect!
