Light-colored pictures are not simply about brightening the picture. You need to pay attention to the color matching of the dark and highlight parts. You can first adjust the main color of the picture, then render the color of the highlight part, and the whole thing will be elegant and blended.

Open the original image material, create an optional color adjustment layer, and adjust red, yellow, green, white, neutral colors, and black. The parameter settings are as shown in the figure. This step changes the main color of the background to yellow-cyan.
2. Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 2 to bring up the highlight selection, create a new layer, fill it with light yellow: #f6f1b4, change the blending mode to "Overlay", and change the opacity to: 68%. The effect is as shown below. This step slightly brightens the skin tone.
Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the red, yellow-green, and neutral colors. The parameter settings are as shown in the figure. This step adds magenta and yellow to the image.
4. Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 2 to bring up the highlight selection, reverse Ctrl + Shift + I, create a new layer, fill it with light yellow: #f6f1b4, change the blending mode to "Soft Light", and change the opacity to: 47 %. The effect is as shown below. This step slightly brightens the background.
Create a color balance adjustment layer, adjust the midtones and highlights, and set the parameters as shown in the figure. In this step, add some cyan to the skin tone.
6. Create a curve adjustment layer, adjust RGB, green, and blue, and set parameters. This step reduces the brightness of the points.
7. Create a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. The effect is as shown below. This step reduces red and adds yellow to the entire image.
8. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer. Simply sharpen and reduce noise on the characters, the effect is as shown below.
Finally, fine-tune the overall color to complete the final effect.
