1. Open the original image and create a new layer (as shown in Figure 1).

2. Select the brush, set the color to black, and click on the drop-down box of the brush above PS. Adjust the main diameter according to the size of your picture. I set it here to 10 and the hardness to 0. Start tracing with the brush around the eyes in the photo ( As shown in Figure 2).

Figure 23. After completing the second part, select Filter--Blur--Gaussian Blur in the navigation bar above PS. The radius can be adjusted according to the picture effect. I set it to 3.5 pixels here (Figure 3).

4. Finally, adjust the opacity of the layer appropriately to blend the photo. I adjusted it to 81% here (Figure 4).
