Photoshop creates a strong contrasting dark orange-blue tone in landscape pictures

Source: PS Alliance Author: Spare Ribs Orange and blue are an elegant set of colors. The contrast between warm and cold can help enhance the image’s depth. If the combination is appropriate, such as making the main body orange and the background dark blue, the main part can be well highlighted.

1. Open the original image material, select the menu: Image > Mode > Lab Color, enter the channel panel, select the b channel, press Ctrl + A to select all, press Ctrl + C to copy, select the a channel, and press Ctrl + V to paste. Return to the Layers panel and select the menu: Image > Mode > RGB Color.
2. Create a Levels adjustment layer, brighten it slightly, and customize the value. After confirming, use a black paintbrush to erase the parts outside the red circle in the picture below.
3. Create an optional color adjustment layer, parameter settings: red: -24/16/52/-14; yellow: 0/10/15/0; cyan: -60/15/11/12; blue: 22/ 15/60/-9.
4. Create an optional color adjustment layer, parameter settings: red: 0/15/73/24; yellow: 0/12/15/0; blue: 0/0/-5/20.
5. Create a color balance adjustment layer with values: Shadow: 8/1/-9; Highlight: -3/-4/-8.
6. Create a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and adjust the blue value: -2/12/-14.
7. Create an optional color adjustment layer and adjust the white color. The values are: 0/0/-34/-37.
8. Create a new layer, fill it with color: #000066, change the blending mode to "Exclude", and change the opacity to: 18%. The effect is as shown below.
9. Create a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E to stamp the layer. Duplicate the stamped layer and adjust the details to complete the final effect.
